I have had NO issues running Synthedit plugins on 64 bit Vista, 7 or 8 and all I have done is change the security settings on the VST folder to allow user write access. It allows you to change the pitch of the Kettle drums, adjust the sustain, release, and lots of other stuff! Use it with DSK Strings for best results.

In order to be able to take full advantage of what the package has to offer, you need to include it in a suitable host environment, such as VSTHost. Narrator must not know how to sound design and probably upset cause of the presets o well there ok I don't use them Does anyone have the same problem or know how to fix it? I'm pretty sure that I'll use that one very often in future.
